Haiku by Cristine A. Gruber

Collins, Hass and Bly . . .
many nights spent in their worlds
drunk on wine

Around the table
sits the strength of worlds
teacups in small hands

Cerulean sky
silent and wondrous painting
broken by dove's wings

Bright constellations
form a nocturnal map
lead the cat back home

Barren winter sky
calling to the lonely sun
will it ever end
