A Sample from the Editor: A.J. Huffman

Her wings were razors.
Honed and hardened.  She flutters.
He never stood a chance.

Lasered eyes scar skin.
Matching night is devoured.
Only his bones remain.

Three scales short.  Her skin
doesn't fit.  She will have to take
his sooner than planned.
