sliver of moon
in lingering clouds--
lost flip-flop among the dunes


he kisses
my eyes closed--bits of baklava
beneath the coverlet


catching the fly-ball
I become my son's
new hero


sea glass--
the gull's eye
spots a morsel

Theresa A.
